LASDRI BOSS BOWS OUT OF PUBLIC SERVICE
The General Manager of Lagos State Drivers’ Institute, Mr. Philip Ogunlade has gloriously bowed out of the Public Service at the age of 60 after serving the State meritoriously for 32 years.
At a pull-out parade held in his honour at the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) headquarters in Oshodi, Ogunlade, who spoke in an emotion-laden voice, expressed gratitude to God and all those present for making the event a memorable occasion for him.
He further stated that it pays to serve with integrity and humility, as these were his watchwords during his years in service, advising that those still in service should be dedicated and supportive to the government towards the actualisation of its dreams for the civil service.
Ogunlade was employed into the State Civil Service as a Higher Traffic Officer on Grade Level 08 with the old Lagos State Transport Corporation (LSTC) on November 16, 1987.
He was appointed General Manager of Lagos State Drivers’ Institute (LASDRI) in 2016 for his efficient and excellent service delivery that did not go unnoticed in the State.
Also speaking at the event, the General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Mr. Olawale Musa described the retiree as a man with great humility and distinguished character.
Musa recognised the contributions of the retiring General Manager to the civil service and wished him a peaceful retirement.
